New Children and Young Peoples Service

New Children and Young Peoples Service

New Children and Young Peoples Service

We are delighted to announce that we have recently been awarded funding for a new Children and Young People Service. Funding from the Henry Smith Foundation will enable us to run a new 3 year project. This project will nurture and support the recovery of Children and Young People who have experienced Domestic Abuse.

The new service will be working with children aged between 3-16 years and deliver a range of services including:

  • After School Clubs
  • STAR Programmes
  • 1:1 support
  • Young Persons Recovery Toolkit
  • Video Interaction Guidance (VIG)

This project will run alongside our current Video Interaction Guidance project which works with Parents and Children under the age of 2 whose attachment and bonding may have been affected by Domestic Abuse. This new project will now allow us to use the VIG method with children up to the age of 5.

For more information on this exciting new project or our current Video Interaction Guidance project please contact our CYP Support and Development officer Angharad on 01369894864 or email angharadb@ptwa.org.uk
